Barra Isleña was born in the heart of San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 2020. After a life-changing experience, I felt a calling to reconnect with our homeland, Borikén, and the incredible abundance it offers. One question kept coming to mind:

"Why are there so few places to enjoy fresh, natural juices on such a beautiful tropical island?"

That question became the inspiration for Barra Isleña.

I've always had a passion for the kitchen and creating food and drinks that bring people together. Combining that passion with a desire to promote healthier, natural options gave life to this dream. From the very beginning, our mission has been simple: serve fresh, high-quality juices and foods while celebrating the flavors, culture, and spirit of Puerto Rico.

Of course, this journey would never have been possible without the incredible people who believed in our vision. The support of our community, family, friends, and customers has shaped Barra Isleña into what it is today.

Five years later, that dream has crossed the ocean. We proudly opened our first U.S. location in Scranton, Pennsylvania, bringing a taste of Puerto Rico to a new community while staying true to the values that started it all.

Today, Barra Isleña is more than a juice bar—it's a celebration of culture, community, wellness, and the belief that fresh, natural ingredients have the power to bring people together.
